Tom McClure is an Associate Licensed Counselor under the supervision of Andy Brindley, LPC, LMFT offering services in relationships, addiction, depression, lack of progress, physical pain, pornography, and sexual difficulties. In addition to private practice, Tom works with UAB Hospital's Addiction Recovery Program. Tom sees young men and women who struggle to move forward with life, school, career, and relationships. Clients include men, women, couples, and families of all ages. Tom has a lot of experience working with young men and women (ages 18 and older) and the variety of issues which complicate life. He helps couples, particularly when issues of control, being taken for granted, defensiveness, and stonewalling have created a wedge, or an affair has occurred.
Tom is married, a parent of grown children, has had careers in ministry and education prior to beginning private practice and hospital based addiction recovery. M.Ed.
